What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It provides an
easy way to share web content. An RSS feed contains summaries and
links to pages that publish information. When you click an RSS link you
will see XML (eXtensible Markup Language) code in your browser. This is
to be expected, since you do not view RSS content through a browser.
You view the headlines through an RSS news reader (also called an RSS aggregator).
For eBay sellers, RSS provides another way to present your items to
prospective buyers.
When your customers subscribe to your RSS feed
they will be almost instantly alerted when you list new items.
